What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is the practice of muscle testing,
stemming from chiropractic techniques and the principles of Chinese medicine. With Kinesiology the muscles become
monitors indicating stress and imbalance. By “muscle testing” kinesiology becomes a versatile tool for identifying
and correcting various imbalances in your body and therefore in your life.
Kinesiology opens up the subconscious mind to get to
the root cause of disease. These
blockages present themselves as aches, pains, allergies, learning difficulties,
co-ordination problems, digestive disturbances, poor self-esteem, hormonal
problems, fears, phobias, addictions, stress and anxiety, relationship problems
or just feeling unwell.
Why muscles?
Muscles are the filing cabinets of the subconscious
mind. They hold every memory of every
move they ever made. Muscles also hold
emotional memories of what you were feeling and thinking at the time. By accessing muscles we can bring certain
files to consciousness to be dealt with. The emotions are released; the muscle returns to its original length and
the aches and pains dissipate. Muscle
monitoring will tell the Kinesiologist exactly what a particular person will
need.
Following are some of the
techniques that are used in Kinesiology:
Meridians and Acu points Muscle stimulation
Neuro-lymphatic stimulation Nutrition/herbs
Sound/Colour Stress diffusion
Guided imagery Vibrational remedies
Structural Balancing Cranial
Adjustment
Chakra Balancing Brain

Who can Benefit from Kinesiology?
Almost anyone can benefit from kinesiology, from the unwell
to the very fit. People in all walks
of life use it to improve their performance, education, sports, businesses
etc. If the person cannot be tested
directly as in the case of a baby or an injured person, the testing can be done
through a surrogate.
